PriceInfluencer (“the Service”) is operated by YouDo AI Ltd(“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PriceInfluencer.

1. Data we collect

1.1 Account data

When you register we collect your name, email address, and password. Your password is hashed with bcrypt before storage and is never stored or transmitted in plain text.

1.2 Billing data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit or debit card numbers. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription plan, billing interval, subscription status, and period-end date. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs how they handle payment information: stripe.com/privacy.

1.3 Usage and session data

Authentication cookies — We set two httpOnly cookies (access token and refresh token) used solely for session management. These are JWTs containing your user ID, email, and role.
IP address and User-Agent — Recorded on sign-in for security notification emails and for rate-limiting anonymous analysis requests.
Theme preference — Stored client-side in localStorage; not transmitted to our servers.
Product analytics — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page views and in-app events (for example which features are used). GA may set cookies or use similar storage; see Google’s privacy policy.

1.4 Creator analysis data

When you run an analysis, the Instagram username you submit and the resulting publicly available profile data and posts are retrieved via Apify’s Instagram scraping API and stored in our database. Creator profile data (metrics, post statistics, AI pricing estimates) is shared infrastructure — any authenticated user who analyses the same handle benefits from cached results.

1.5 Brand-fit analysis data (private)

If you provide a website URL, our server fetches publicly available HTML metadata (page title, description, Open Graph tags) from that URL. This, along with AI-generated brand-fit scoring and analysis, is stored privately and associated only with your account. Other users cannot access your brand-specific analysis.

1.6 Cancellation feedback

If you cancel a subscription, we may collect a reason and optional free-text feedback to improve the Service.

2. How we use your data

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To send transactional emails (welcome, sign-in alerts, subscription changes) via Resend.
To rate-limit anonymous requests and prevent abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Creator analysis data may be retained indefinitely to serve cached results to other users. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, name, password hash, brand analyses) will be removed within 30 days, though anonymised or aggregated data may be retained.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens). When enabled, we also load Google Analytics 4 for aggregated product analytics (page views and custom events). We do not use advertising pixels or sell your data. You can use browser controls or extensions to limit analytics cookies.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and personal data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Data portability.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), bcrypt password hashing, signed JWTs, and httpOnly/secure cookies. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100 % secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
